A Mine in Pretoria is currently looking for a Lead Electrician to join their team. Minimum Requirements • Qualified Electrician with Trade Certificate from recognized/accredited institution • Valid Public Driver’s License Code EB (08) • 5 years’ experience as an Electrician in a plant/project environment • At least 3 years’ experience in the maintenance and operation of MV switchgear and distribution transformers • At least 3 years’ experience in MV switching with valid ORHVS certificate • Knowledge of basic protection schemes and metering systems • Proven ability to understand MV panel control wiring circuit diagrams • Ability to perform fault finding on MV control panel (major advantage) • PC literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the Windows system.
