Lead Engineer - IT

About the Role:
As Lead Engineer of the Information Technology (IT) work center IT Services you are responsible for the efficient and effective IT infrastructure including major inhouse applications. You manage a team of IT engineers and work closely with our project managers, engineering and production teams. Thus, you make an essential contribution to producing advanced photomasks for our customers in the semiconductor industry.

Requirements:
Degree in computer sciences or engineering with an IT focus
Minimum of five years of professional experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry, as well as leadership and management experience.
Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development.
Strong project management skills and experience.
Fluent in both in German and English and demonstrate a high affinity to working in international teams.
A sound knowledge of and experience with manufacturing management, customer interaction and business process management.

Duties:
Ensuring and further developing an efficient and high-quality IT infrastructure as well as major software applications
Managing a team of ca 10 IT development engineers including disciplinary and technical responsibility
Technical and methodical development of your team
Initiating and coordinating projects
Responsibility for reporting and further development of the key performance indicator system
Aligning the IT development activities with the overall business strategy and the technology strategies of partner companies
Performing internal and external IT audits in cooperation with the IT Manager
