Job Description:
Join a leading company building revenue systems on an international platform as a Lead Java Developer. Your role will include Java Development and Design Leadership, to innovate and guide the company technology wise.

• Relevant tertiary qualification BCom, BSc, BEng

Skills & Experience:

Java development guidance on system best practices
Learn understand the Oracle Utilities SDK
Establish a development workflow
Develop backend components to work in the Oracle Public Sector Revenue Management (PSRM) solution
Develop integration components to external systems using web services or batch processes in a Java environment
Create design documents
Create algorithm plug-ins using Java
Unit testing and qualification of code
Release and building of packages
Documenting of code
Investigating and creating new solutions
Performance analysis
Tool building

Solid Java programming experience – minimum of 8 yrs plus required
Sound knowledge of HTML, XML, XPath and Javascript.
Solid understanding of SQL– preferable Oracle database
Experience using Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) - will be an advantage
Experience in commerce/financial systems environments - will be an advantage
System design experience
Release management experience
Code qualification experience – knowledgeable on current trends
Leadership and mentoring abilities

Salary – R90 000 per month
