Position: Lead process Engineer
Based in: Mobeni-Durban

Key Purpose Statement
- Responsible for leading the Process Engineering function
- Identifying and delivering initiatives to deliver step change performance improvement and process stability in order to realise true process capability
Competence Requirements:
-Minimum qualification is a BSc Chemical Engineering Degree
-'Green Belt' qualification
-3 - 5 years process engineering experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
Output and Accountabilities:
-Mentor and provide guidance to Junior Process Engineer
-Initiate and support divisional process improvement and process capability projects
-Support development and delivery of the Process Engineering community
-Understand process capability through process capability studies
-Deep understanding of plant, process, controls and automation, utilities, design and commissioning
-Rigorous analytical skills and ability to apply them to complex problems
-Ability to develop project plans and meet project deadlines
-Ability to multi-task
-Work on own initiative
-Facilitation of HAZOP's
-Development of CFS’s and performance acceptance testing criteria
-Lead problem solving initiatives
-Identify and deliver regional process improvement and process capability projects
-Provide process design expertise for Regional capital project execution
-Ensure that new plant delivers to agreed performance standards / capability
-Identify technology opportunities
