Purpose:
Plan, direct, coordinate and supervise site Major Machines and high speed Turbo-machinery maintenance programs on both process and utilities machinery in a three train LNG facility. Responsible for small rotating equipment maintenance activities, trouble shooting and condition monitoring. Responsible for the timely, safe, cost effective achievement of plant machinery reliability and availability targets as directed by Maintenance policy and in line with all applicable industry standards, codes and practices.

Scope of Duties:
Direct and supervise the activities of rotating machinery technicians in the repair and maintenance of all categories of Major rotating machinery (up to 40 MW) and all medium critical rotating equipment.
Implement and Perform condition monitoring programs for Major Machines and its auxiliaries.
Experienced with Turbo-machinery applications like major steam turbines, major gas compressors, gas turbines, and high speed air compressors packages.
Prepare major overhaul scope of work and material reservations for major machinery.
Supervise major overhauls and inspection for all type/component of turbo-machinery.
Execute vibration analysis and trouble shooting using shaft centerline monitoring systems and portable vibration analyzers.
Aware and use the well known standards for turbo-machinery applications.
Support Operations Division in resolution of machinery related problems.
Troubleshoot plant machinery problems, conduct root cause analysis and recommend engineering solutions
Execute and administer plant Preventive Maintenance program.
Use CMMS as effective work tool in planning manpower and materials resources.
Establish and maintain comprehensive maintenance records. Evaluate MTBF and undertake to improve reliability to best industry standards.
Prepare component / equipment repair procedures.
Liaise with Vendors / Specialists as required to improve machinery reliability.
Mentor and develop UAE national engineers and technicians.
Identify training requirements of site workforce.
Prepare and administer Operating / Capital Budget spending within policy guidelines.
Participate in HAZOPs, technical reviews, risk assessment and Safety Audits.

Minimum Requirements:
Age: 35-40 years
BSc in Mechanical Engineering
Ten (10) years’ experience in petrochemical plant turbo-machinery and rotating machinery maintenance.
Five (5) years supervisory experience in turbo-machinery and machinery maintenance
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, and capable of writing technical reports

Remuneration Package:
Salary: Negotiable
Leave Cycle: 35 days on site Das Island, 28 days leave to point of origin
Round trip economy class tickets to point of origin each rotation cycle
