An interest in or experience of coding games for the web using FLASH or other alternatives.
Must be familiar and have worked with an MVC framework, preferably Symfony. You will have used version control in a team environment, preferably SVN or possibly GIT. CVS is also acceptable.
You're used to taking either a formal or agile approach to the devlepment life cycle.
You should be competent in testing for caveats in technical solutions you've implemented and have a low track record of introducing bugged code to the repository.
Working in a team of 4 + occasional contractors, reporting to the Head of Technical Development, you're expected to undertake new projects, see to the maintenance of the existing codebase, which includes enhancement, the adding of new functionality and bug fixing.
You must be comfortable integrating 3rd party apps into the existing codebase.
You'll also be expected to act as co mentor along side the Head of Technical Development to the junior members of the team.
You can work alone or in a team. You are comfortable with the sometimes sporadic switching of tasks which comes with a shift in priorities. You work with a sense of urgency and are accustomed to working under pressure. You're trustworthy, responsible and conscientious. You're resourceful, love challenges and are natural problem solver.
