PURPOSE OF JOB
To produce quality components (in safe environment) according to the production schedule, plan and control of equipment all within the broader guidelines of Company Policies and Code of Conduct.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Production of components within time limits.
• Adhere to quality standards.
• Set-up of fixtures.
• Calibration of own measuring instruments and equipment.
• Correct application/use of general tooling on equipment.
• Documentation - completion of data control & plotted data books.
• Applying of SHE systems.
• Set-up of special machines.
• Mentoring as requested.

CRITICAL SKILLS
• Quality systems applications and interpretation.
• Manufacturing technical skills.
• Machine and component set-up skills.
• Drawing and operation book interpretation.
• Drawing interpretation and geometric tolerances.
• Problem solving.
• Planning and organising skills.
• Communication skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• N3 in Tool Making.
• Five to eight years experience as Artisan.
• Experience on NC & CNC machines.
• Courses in Quality, SHE and Overhead Cranes.
• Forklift Licence.
• Basic material properties (heat treatment).
• Ability to work individually and in a team.
