With so many industries needing a sales team to keep them in profit, it can be difficult for managers to cope with everything on their own. As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals once you have completed your training. We are a fast growing company and seeking to go international by the end of next year – this will give you an opportunity to work abroad!

So, what will I actually be doing?
Typically, your specific responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and increasing sales of your company's financial products
• Reaching the targets and goals set
• Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
• Servicing the needs of your existing customers
• Increasing business opportunities
• Setting sales targets for individual sales professionals and your team as a whole
• Teaching and Training sales professionals
• Developing sales strategies and setting targets
• Monitoring your team's performance and motivating them to reach targets

The nitty gritty:
Normally, you'll work 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may have to work longer when necessary.
You'll be office-based, but you may need to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions.

Money, money, money:
Figures are intended as a guideline only.

The salary is made up of a basic and a high commission structure. In the first month you can earn between R6000 – R10 000 while we teaching and training you, during your second month I will be very concerned if you not earning R12 000 a month and in your third month you will be well on your way to earning between R14 000 to R20 000. It is a training program and within 12 to 18 months you will work your way up to a business owner and earn between R40 000 – R50 000 in the early stages of your franchise development.
