Lean Operation Management:
Review of 5S and Lean daily management system and conduct monthly 5S audits.
Continuous training of Lean staff on Lean tools.
Continuously review work standards and work with the teams to update on an ongoing basis making it visual.

Project Management:
Run weekly Lean process improvement projects review meetings to ensure projects are running as per plan.
Identify new projects, set Lean task teams and provide support on projects.
Run the monthly steering committee and monitor progress of projects.
Monitor and report monthly Lean value tracker.

Production:
Ensure legally compliant operations.
Review operational procedures to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Monthly weekly & daily meetings with the Plant department to review feedback on operational efficiencies, new requirements and overall information and performance.
Manage and follow up on external SHEQ audit requirements for production department.
Tracks, analyses, and improves key plant parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, project management compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
Lead problem solving, efficiency improvements and cost reduction initiatives at the company.
Take leadership in ensuring that company policies and procedures across planning, procurement and production are updated periodically to remain relevant and achieve company financial and operational objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:
BSC –in Engineering or Relevant Engineering Qualification (University-not Technikon – additional qualifications are a plus).
3-5 Years Production experience.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
Analytical.
