Brief Posting Description
The incumbent will be expected to function as a liaison with business regarding their learning and development needs, ensuring operational aspects of the learning team are developed and managed, efficiencies are enabled and learning programmes are successfully implemented.

Job Requirements
Consult and Engage:
• Consultation and partnering with subject matter experts (External and within the Group) in the design and delivery of a learning culture
• Establish relationships and engage with any relevant national/regulatory bodies
• Manage vendor management contracts and services provided
• Give input into other development practices such as performance management and succession as and when it pertains to Learning
• Support and advise team members on development practices and operational enhancements
• Drive high performance culture within the business via the enablement of progressive Learning practices
Analyse and Research:
• Explore and implement progressive technologies and trending practices for Learning and Development
• Manage and provide input into a suite of leadership and management initiatives and programmes
• Conduct needs analyses through research and client interaction
Oversight and Management:
• Actively monitor Learning and Development expenditure and service delivery of the team and vendors
• Manage and provide input into programme, curriculum, catalogue and bursary management
• Provide reporting on progress regarding Learning programmes and initiatives within the business
• Ensure quality oversight of all programmes designed for the business
• Delegate tasks and monitor administrative requirements of the team
• Empower team members and monitor their delivery on initiative outputs
Strategic Alignment:
• Identify initiatives in alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives, and plan budgets accordingly
• Create a Learning and Development strategy in alignment with the greater Organisational Development strategy, and the business strategy
• Ensure there is alignment between sub Learning teams that have specific focus on parts of the business

Additional Details
• A minimum of 5 – 7 years financial services experience with adequate Learning and Development exposure
• Exposure to investments industry
• A relevant postgraduate degree
• A good understanding of the legislation governing learning practices within organisations
• Exposure to learning design and programme management
