RESPONSIBILITES
Develop L&D strategy and plans to drive people development
Apply learning theory/models, benchmark best practices/trends, and maintain knowledge of cutting-edge approaches
Conduct needs analysis and provide cutting edge learning solutions
Collaborate with Executives and cross-functional managers regularly to understand the on- going and evolving priorities and needs of the business.
Develop and implement Leadership Development Framework
Develop and implement effective Learning Management System (LMS)
Develop and Implement Mentoring and Coaching
Identify and develop high potential employees
Develop retention strategies for high potential employees
Implement One Fraser Learning Academy
Drive culture and transformational change
Develop job competencies
Ensure BBBEE, SDA and Employment Equity compliance
Responsible for Bursaries, Learnerships, Interns and study assistance
Drive change management initiatives
Coordinate the preparation and planning of the departmental training budgets for the different
functional areas.
Identify best practice learning and development tools, methodology and processes
Develop, plan and implement ad hoc learning projects
Ensure that all learning activities and materials meet with relevant organisational and statutory
policies (Skills Development Act and Employment Equity Act).
Compile skills plan and reports for SETAs
Partner with SETAs
Provide L&D strategic guidance and governance
Develop and implement L&D policies and procedures

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Good knowledge of labour legislation
Good understanding of the employee relations field and related concepts
Good understanding and working experience dealing with Department of Mineral Resources (DMR)
Post Graduate qualification in Industrial Psychology /HR/ Adult Education or Organisational Development/Degree in HR Development / Transformation, or equivalent
At least 5 years work experience in Organisational Development, L&D or Training and Transformation essential.
Excellent Project/Programme Management Skills in the context of learning solutions with Highly developed consultative skills.
Strong knowledge & application of organizational development theories and methodologies,
Must have Strong Experience from mining dealing with DMR
