Role Purpose
Ensure organisational effectiveness of people development through identification of relevent development programmes aligned with organisational strategic goals. To build capacity through development of skills programmes, training materials and tools. Contribute in identifying, designing and delivering materials and programmes to fulfil short and long term aims of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Shape learning and development activity which includes a skills gap analysis, monitoring and implementation of plans as well as research and proposing new programmes. Take the lead in design and delivery of learning interventions and training plans and assist in building capability
Build organisational capability by manging and designing programmes in line with the talent plan. Keep abreast with relevent legislation and best pratice. Ensure skills deelopment reflects business priorities
Source and develop training material and training providers in conjunctioin with management, develop and maintain relationships with training providers and team. Develop inhouse training material and ensure accreditation to realise cost savings
Special project management and lead on any change management project. Manage completion of compliance training
Reporting and general administration which includes assisting the SDF in recovering funds due back to the business from SETA, maintaining learning platforms , ensure all reporting is executed, consolidate monthly reports and ensure adherance to budget allocations
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in HR, Training or Behavioural Sciences
Minimum of 3 years experience in a Learning and Development / Training position and 2 years experience as an Assessor
Good Facilitation experience and skills
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel proficiency
Understanding of the Skills Development Act and Skills Development Levies Act
Administratively strong
Valid SA driver's license and own car essential
