The successful candidate will provide operational support in terms of identifying operational training needs, plan, implement and report on learning interventions, administration and execution of HR projects. These will include amongst others:

• Anticipate and plan for circumstances that may influence the development of the functional strategic plan.
• Support the meeting of agreed turnaround times while cutting costs.
• Remain up to date with legislation and the industry in general
• Provide input into the development of the business plan.
• Provide input into sub-functional planning.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organizational standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure effective and regular communication of new statutory regulations, organizational standards, policies and procedures to ensure full awareness amongst employees and contractors.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organizational standards, policies and procedures within span of control and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance.
• Implement and manage effective delivery of leadership, management and supervisory development programs in line with company strategic objectives.
• Coordinate coaching and mentorship programmes to enhance business performance.
• Coordinate and implement supervisory, management and leadership development programs.
• Young talent development programme
• Operational training management

The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be confident when interacting with others and keep people informed with relevant and well-timed information.
Must know how to build relationships with and deliver services to both internal and external customers with a focus on their needs.
Candidate must have ability to solve challenging problems by using a combination of intuition and analytical thinking.
Attention to detail is critical in this position and the ideal candidate must be good in managing conflict and be diplomatic.
