Key Job Responsibilities:

¦Design, develop and maintain functional and technical learning programme content and assessments in line with the planned curriculum as required in order to ensure that learning outcomes are achieved
¦Consult with business areas to agree on reasonable and achievable deadlines
¦Interact with content stakeholders to ensure quality, timely and cost-effective content
¦Design, develop and maintain programme content in line with technical specifications for quality implementation purposes
¦Align learning material to meet best practices for adult learning
¦Ensure that learning material and assessments meets the agreed quality standards
¦Facilitate joint analysis and design sessions, conduct business interviews and other information gathering techniques in order to determine learning material requirements
¦Coordinate resources associated with the design, development, testing and implementation phases of course content to ensure quality deliverables
¦Analyse and document business requirements in consultation with users according to appropriate methodology and techniques
¦Test, implement and document modules to ensure that the required standards and objectives are met
¦Apply various methods of learning, example role-plays, group work, presentation etc., to ensure optimum knowledge transfer ¦Ensure learner understanding of material/subject matter
¦Ensure all formative and summative assessments are completed, signed, marked and remediated according to deadlines

Key Competency Requirements:

¦Relevant tertiary qualification in education and training
¦Relevant qualification in design and development of learning material
¦Relevant qualification in facilitation and assessment of learning material. 3-5 years in education and training experience
¦3-5 years in design and development of learning material
¦3-5 years in facilitation and assessment of learning material
¦Advanced computer Literacy
¦Three years experience in the design and development of classroom based learning programs
¦Attention to detail
¦Time management
¦Research and analysing skills
¦Good people/consulting skills
¦Able to work independently
¦Presentation skills
¦Report writing skills
¦Communication skills
¦Project management skills
¦Assessment skills
¦Ability to design and develop learning material based on business-specific information and specifications

¦Own vehicle and driving license
