Leasing Manager

Five Year Fixed Term Contract
One of the top Housing Company that operates in all four corners of South Africa is currently recruiting for a Leasing Manager. Purpose of the Job will be to control and manage the processes and related functions of leasing to ensure optimal rental income and customer/tenants’ satisfaction.

Education, Training and Experience
•A valid Grade 12 Certificate
•Business Administration or Credit Control degree or equivalent qualification
•Five (5) years’ experience in administrative management preferably in a leasing and/or credit control environment, of which three (3) years should be at management level
•Computer literacy is essential
•A valid driver’s licence

•The ability to operate at a strategic and operational level and be a good team player

Key performance areas

• Develop an annual operation plan for the Leasing
• Department and monitor expenditure against budget
• Identify risks that the leasing and allocations sections are exposed to
• Receive schedules of handover dates for new projects and ensure marketing thereof
• Review all selected applications and ensure that subsidy applications are submitted and processed by the Provincial Housing Department and if not, meet with the Department to follow-up on such
• Ensure that tenants are trained and leases are signed
• Ensure that all terminated leases are processed
• Ensure all new leasing administrators are orientated and their work plans are developed
