Manage the MSc (Mineral Resource Management) master's programme at the Department of Geology.
Lecture a prescribed load of modules forming part of the programme.
Assist with the recruitment of external lecturers to present certain modules of the programme.
Update course materials in consultation with external lecturers.
Market the programme to prospective students.
Conduct regular programme reviews to ensure adherence of the programme to Higher Education Qualification Sub Framework (HEQSF) stipulations.
Organise block weeks in consultation with students and external lecturers.
Supervise the research of students completing dissertations as part of the programme.
Perform ad-hoc duties as required by the Head of Department from time to time.
Ensure a positive learning experience for students enrolled in the programme.

Inherent requirements:
MSc degree in Mineral Resource Management.
Proven experience in the presentation of poster or oral presentation at conferences.
A good academic record.
Assumption of duties: 1 January 2019.
