We are looking for an experienced Legal Collections Officer for a National Company in Port Elizabeth.

Purpose of the position:
It is the responsibility of the Legal Collections Officer to manage the debt recovery of all medical accounts handed over by operations for legal collection and to ensure that handed over accounts are collected as quick as possible. In addition the Legal Collections Officer will oversee the Legal collections team.

Requirements:
Admitted Attorney
Experience of minimum 2 years in Legal Collections
Good sound knowledge of Legal, Compliance and the National Credit Act
Good sound knowledge of Soft Collections, Legal Collections and Legal processes: early, middle, late collections
Driver’s License Code 08
A solid understanding of accounting principles
PC literate – intermediate knowledge of Word and advanced knowledge of Excel
