Life Science Sales Manager – Mauritius
Should be in Mauritius and be from Mauritius

Position function:
Achieve the sales objectives set for the markets of Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Reunion
Duties:
1. Achieve the sales objectives set for the markets of Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Reunion
2. To formulate and implement country strategy and tactical plan in line with Regional Strategy and overall Africa strategy and Go-To-Market model.
3. Drive business opportunities and in-market growth initiatives.
4. To build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the (Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles, Comoros, Reunion) markets (Customers, Dealers, resellers, opinion leaders and key researchers) in order to enhance market understanding across various levels. 5. Report on market activities, sales and opportunity status on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis – including sales forecasts and sales pipeline – using SAP CRM and other assigned feedback systems.
6. Ensure business processes and procedures are in place to minimise internal risk and manage any external risk, within appropriate channels of communication

Skills required:
Grade 12/Matric/GCE Advanced Level and Degree in Science (Chemistry or Biological) essential.
3-5 years sales experience is a must. Experience in selling Life Science products will be an advantage.
Should be in Mauritius and be from Mauritius
Speak English and local language
• Planning & Organizing – Works independently, self driven and organised, efficient at planning
• A sound knowledge of customer segments in Life Science business in Mauritius
• Computer literacy – able to use MS packages, store or analyse data and creating reports
• Detailed knowledge of market trends and customer behaviour in Mauritius
• Understanding of procedures and processes relating to imports and price escalation
• Detailed knowledge of Life science products including key features and benefits
Demonstrates a good understanding of market opportunities and business risk
• Solid Selling skills
• Strong Communication skills
