LinkedIn Specialist/Key Account Manager

Location: Craighall, Johannesburg
Salary: Market Related

Purpose of the Role:
You will be working closely with an elite group of sales people, who will be responsible for renewing and expanding existing customer revenue across these key companies.

Requirements:
Degree (BA/BSc/BCom) or relevant advertising/marketing Qualification
Minimum 2-5 years of account management, relationship management, new business development, digital media sales experience
Contacts in the Johannesburg Advertising/Media agencies
Have a clear and comprehensive understanding of LinkedIn’s products, business model, customer marketplace and organizational structure.
Well organised and detail-oriented team player Strategic thinker
Understanding of the BTB landscape
High energy, self-motivated and passionate about working in the new media landscape
Digital experience
Working knowledge of digital trafficking, campaign management and ad operations
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Strong Computer skills

Duties:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders will be a key function of the role, as well as managing all aspects of the account, from the sales pitch through to campaign delivery and post campaign reporting.
Directly manage a team of Key Account and Relationship Managers focused on renewing and expanding existing customer revenue across large complex organizations.
Be directly involved with the mentoring and development of the sales team
Motivate members of the Linked in team and generalist team and bring innovation to the sales process
Participate directly in all aspects of the sales cycle to ensure superior customer experience and member satisfaction.
Constantly innovate ways to balance sales opportunities, client management and new customer onboarding responsibilities
Develop and execute against a focused sales strategy to maximize the value of KAM
Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with the product and marketing teams
Be proactive about solving problems even if they are outside of your area
Work and lead in accordance with, and ideally set the standard for, LinkedIn’s culture and values
