• System uptime and availability
• Server maintenance
• Monitoring system and network performance
• Backup and recovery of servers
• Network and server security
• System documentation
• Research and development
• Respond to system downtime / alert

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
• Matric
• Linux (LPI 1 / LPI 2)
• Postgres
• MYSQL
• Relevant networking qualification
• Driver licence
• Clear ITC and Criminal Record
• High level Linux environment experience - min 3 years
• Complex networks experience - min 3 years
• Database experience - min 3 years
• Server hardware experience - min 3 years
• Virtualisation experience - min 2 years
