My client based in Johannesburg North is looking for a skilled and experienced Linux/Windows Engineer

Below is the responsibility and duties you will be providing day to day.

Linux Server Administration (Centos, Ubuntu and Debian).
OTRS and Vicidial applications monitoring, fixing problems and maintenance.
Weekly MySQL otrs, vicidial and mailscanner database backups.
Vicidial system image monthly backup.
Mail server administration (postfix, mailscanner, spam assassin)
Webhosting (apache).
Database administration (MySQL) - Backups, tables repair and optimization.
Projects – Mail Gateway and OTRS rebuilds and upgrades.
Creating new user profiles and mailboxes on the network.
OTRS, IXP, Jarrison and Phone System (speed dial and phone codes).
Deactivating and removing profiles of exiting employees.
Planning, testing, and executing upgrades as necessary to maintain support or improve functionality in a high availability environment (including Linux and Windows servers, web servers, certificate authorities, firewalls)
Desktop and user support – Windows.
New PC installations, daily desktop and user support.
Manages operation of LAN printers and other network devices.
Monitoring and respond to IT alerts.
2X7 Standby as per rotation roster.
Any other task that Manager will assign to you in your scope of work.
