A Tertiary qualification (National Diploma in IT or busy studying) plus related courses A+N+ MCSE MCP MOUS and CISCO very beneficial. Your role is to support the IT Manager to implement and maintain IT standards within the Plant, administration tasks like ERP support, application support, back-up/restore procedures, hardware, software and network support, provide technical first level user support, monitor a helpdesk, monitor security indicators, update IT site info, prepare new PC’s and laptops for use on the network etc.
