Position: Lodge Anchor Minimum Requirements:• Strong admin skills• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Strong people skills (guest interaction as well as staff interaction)• At least 4 years’ experience in hospitality• Bush lodge experience preferred• 5* hospitality experience ideal• Valid driver’s licence Duties will include:• Reception duties for 2 weeks of every 6-week cycle• Lodge Manager duties for 2 weeks of every 6-week cycle• Check-ins / check-outs• Hosting guests• Overseeing bush banqueting• Using Semper (experience not essential however they should have knowledge/experience of at least one other hotel management software system) We are ideally looking for candidates aged 25 or over – can be male or female. The successful candidate will either have a hospitality qualification with at least 4-5 years’ experience in the industry or significant experience in the industry (8 years +). The salary for this position is R7-9k pm (negotiable depending on experience). Accommodation is included and a food allowance of R800 pm is provided. Additional benefits include a 3.5% company contribution towards a retirement fund with Discovery as well as a company contribution of R300 pm if the employee joins the company medical aid, also with Discovery. The leave cycle is 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Availability: Immediate.
