Logistics and Supply-Chain Manager
As Logistics & Supply-Chain Manager you will:
? Be fully responsible for the successful distribution of cuttings, collection of harvesting, warehousing of product and international forwarding.
? Integrate various production sites in a logistical scheme and ensure the timely supply and distribution.
? Manage a fleet of vehicles, including trucks, forklifts and lift equipment.
? Work out of the integrated planning schedule and monitor the sourcing of material, as well as the production and distribution of perishable goods
? Ensure that the warehouses are a safe environment for the company’s employees, adhering to international health and safety standards
The ideal candidate will:
? Have 7+ years of experience as a Logistics and Supply Chain professional, with experience in the fresh produce or agriculture sectors.
? Be highly analytical with a financial mind-set, holding a University Degree.
? Have a dynamic personality with an ability to think independently.
? Be a strong problem solver with an ability to manage daily operations as well as set a strategic vision.
? Ideally have a proven record of building new/ growing existing supply chain and logistics departments.
