A clothing company in East London is requiring a  Logistics Warehouse Manager
Requirements: Matric Certificate. Diploma in Logistics or Warehousing an advantage. Valid code 08 Driver's licence - unendorsed. Computer Literate - Microsoft Office. 3 - 5 years relevant experience.
Key Accountabilities:Stock - Oversee and manage all aspects of the . admin, distribution, receiving, processing, delivering, shortages, packing, kimbelling and pricing. Controllable Expenses - including staff expenses and identify and deliver operation cost reduction.Security - ensure security procedures are adhered to.Staff - manage employees, performance, disciplinary action, leave, payroll.Quality- control and enforce the standard of administration and procedures in the production area and maintain the standard. Housekeeping - cleanliness and tidiness in the production area at all times.Company Vehicles - Management of all company vehicles. Health & Safety - establish and chair H &S committee, ensure work area complies with OHSA and identify risk areas.Contracted Transporters - negotiating services of 3rd party carriers and monitor the service thereof.
