Leading Pharmaceutical Company has a one year contract position for a Logistics Contractor

Description of Position
Conducts monthly meetings with all importers in order to identify relevant business issues and ensure that all forecasted items are delivered timely
Prepares weekly customer report and maintains order/forecast follow up database.
Ensures that 24 month rolling forecasts for all sources of supply
Attends monthly S&OP meetings with major Stockholders in order to support preparation of "sales in" and "sales to" forecasts
Daily contact with the various sources of supply in order to facilitate timely delivery of product
Supports management with local production/packaging projects and issues
Acting as point of contact for importers and SOS
Inventory management at both levels (Importers-SOS)
Coordination of documents to Regulatory and Quality for approval
Provides support to the business by collecting information from the field on supply chain queries (stocks situations, products moving)

Requirements
Preferable Pharma industry experience
Min 3 year experience
Preferably an accounting and or logistics qualification

Skills
Logistics experience, knowledge of Sub Saharan Africa preferably
Strong excel skills and previous experience in SAP
