The ideal candidate would need to provide an effective and efficient transport service to Distribution
which includes daily scheduling and handling multiple routes, drivers, and deliveries and to ensure accurate
loading and delivery of orders to customer as per order notes and packing slips.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1). Combining and Linking of Loads
2). Preparing Pick notes
3). Check orders and packing slips as Forklift Drivers load onto trucks
4). Receives pro-forma invoices and despatch tiles and tiling related products from the warehouses.
5). Invoicing of trucks
6). Excellent communication skills
7). Communication with drivers
8). Debriefing
9). Route planning
10). Communication with clients
11). Fleet scheduling
12). Arranging and monitoring of trucks
13). Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or licensing issues.
14). Analyse delivery costs and recommended more cost effective methods of transportation
15). Procuring of new transport companies.
16). Make out transport order notes and ensure all transport companies receive faxed copy of the transport order notes
17). Despatch Trucks
18). Update transport schedule and complete transport GRN’s
19). Ensure Senior Manager – Finance receives invoices and transport GRN’s timeously


REQUIREMENTS:
a). Matric
b). External Transport experience essential
c). Logistics experience essential
d). Must reside in Durban South (Chatworth, Yellowwoodpark, Toti, Malvern, Jacobs, Mobeni etc)

PACKAGE:
R8,000 (basic) + R4,000 (incentive) = R12,000 (TCC)
