Looking for a Logistics Controller for Destination Management Company to be responsible for controlling a fleet of vehicles, communicating
instructions to drivers, update management and clients, all while ensuring the operations and administration side of the fleet is up to date and on track.
In addition the incumbent will be tasked with sourcing suitable coaches & vehicles for scheduled tours as required, within the budget allocated.

Qualifications:
Grade 12/Matric
In-depth knowledge of operating and legislative requirements of the transport/logistics industry
Degree/diploma in Logistics / Transport field will be advantageous
At least 1 year Logistics / Transport industry related experience
Valid code 10 license
Experience within Tourism preferred

Job specifications:
Ensure optimum utilisation & efficiency of fleet of vehicles and drivers
Planning of routes & fuel requirements
Management of costs per vehicle
Track and monitor routes of vehicles on the company’s tracking program
Conduct briefing & de-briefing sessions with drivers and address variances against plan with management
Ensure all documentation is completed, verified and filed correctly
Applicable permits and licences obtained and renewed timeously
Maintain fleet of vehicles’ service records and ensure services & repairs are performed efficiently as per company standards & procedures
Scheduled required sublet work (coach rental) with approved external suppliers (including cost estimates and approvals)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
