Our client in Wellington is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team:

Key Requirements:

- University Degree/National Diploma in Logistics Management and Purchasing preferred or alternatively relevant experience within the field
- Minimum of 3 -5 years logistics experience. SAWIS and EZY experience highly beneficial
- Logistics experience preferably within the Wine Export, or Bottling Industry
- Good Communication Skills.
- Aptitude for figures and well organized work ability.
- Working knowledge of SAWIS and DAF.
- Knowledge of all logistic activities and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of exporting wine products.

Key Responsibilities:

Logistical functions:
• Responsible for all SAWIS related actions;
• Receiving of all 3rd party orders and administrating correspondence
• Scheduling of all 3rd party orders
• Confirmations of SAWIS6 intakes
• Administration of 3rd party production reports
• Administration of 3rd party production pack run
• Administer export certificates for 3rd party clients
• Administration of local orders
• Purchasing of dry goods
• Stock control
• Updating and adjusting 3rd party productions on system (EZY)
• Ascertain industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to differentiate Customer from the marketplace and drive customer satisfaction
• Prepare operations reports from EZY into graphs for BOM presentations
Quality functions:
• Responsible to maintain IBS procedures, documents, records, process flows and standard documents relating to your position, to ensure compliance to the required external standard.
• Ensure that Non-Conformances are properly logged and administered.
• Assist with Internal Audit program, conduct internal audits as per program, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of internal audits conducted.
HR Functions:
• Affective management of the Stores Coordinator and Stores Assistant. Trains and evaluates them to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
• Assist with performance evaluations twice annually
• Train all new and existing staff on EZY
Food Safety Team Functions:
• Together with the Food Safety Team Leader, responsible to maintain FS procedures, documents, records, process flows and standard documents relating to the Food Safety Team, to ensure compliance to the required external standard.
