For this exciting role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Logistics Management or Supply Chain and a qualification in CIMA would be an added advantage. The role is to manage the overall inbound and outbound logistics as well as its resources to ensure that operations are handled seamlessly.The scope of responsibility includes detailed mathematical analysis and demand planning which will entail the management and control of capital and operating costs.Duties:Overseeing and leading the Logistics teamDemand Planning and monthly review of forecasts.Oversee cycle counting as well as quarterly and financial year end stock takesOverview of stock on the Access system and verifying stock accuracyResponsible for CHEP accountActivity based costingPrepare monthly management reports as well as daily operational reports e.g. customer orders, yield analysis, trend & variance analysis.Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencies.Output analysis on finished goodsComply with laws, regulations, GMP and ISO 22000 requirementsFleet MaintenanceImplement & Review Service Level AgreementsPerform special projects and additional duties as assigned.
