Position: Logistics Manager
Location: JHB
CTC Monthly: R65000 - R70 000
Benefits: Provident Fund and Medical Aid
Performance Bonus: 7.5% of annual CTC
Availability: Immediately

Role Purpose: To manage the Logistics function by applying the principles of planning, organizing, leading and controlling activities and people through the implementation of relevant best practices that are aimed at achieving the organizational and operation’s logistical objectives

Qualifications:
Completed tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Logistics Management

Job Requirements:
? At least 8 years’ Supply Chain Management / Logistics experience
? Experience in the Plastic Industry an advantage
? Valid Driver’s license with own transport - Involve traveling within SA
? Computer literacy: Ms. Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
? Ability to work independently
? Good timekeeping is essential

Your key responsibilities will be:
? Implementing logistics optimization projects
? Optimizing and consolidating inbound and outbound materials movement
? Optimize stock holding and use resources effectively
? Ensure that the company meets Delivery due dates
? Maintain stock levels in accordance with current and future market trends
? Monitor orders against the delivery plan and ensure that delivery dates are met
? People management skills
? Time Management
The raw material is ordered based on stock items and planning
? Perform price checks on non-stock purchases
? Generate reports on monthly and daily expenditure
? Manage import and export of goods
? Manage import, transport and distribution costs
? Supply relevant stock figures to customers
? Monitor critical measurements and record daily per shift
? Monitor and control absenteeism
? Motivate teams to reach targets, to work according to policies and set out by the company, and to maintain
discipline.
