Degree/B Com in Logistics Management
SAPICS Membership would be an advantage
At least 3 years experience in an FMCG environment in a Supply Chain Management position.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Lotus Notes
SAP (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Materials Management)
Strategic exposure in logistics management
Good project management skills
Must be action and goal oriented.
Hi focus on performance delivery.
Team working and employee relations, is a strong requirement

• To develop and implement a strategy and action plans for the Logistics function
• Plan strategically to improve business performance
• Anticipate, suggest and implement improved inbound and outbound processes to meet business goals

• Prioritise and monitor strategic Supply-related initiatives

• Define Supply Metrics and KPI's and ensure functions within Supply and each Operation are accurately measured against approved KPI's
• Ensure the appropriate quality of service is rendered as per service level agreements
• Manage the inbound and outbound logistics processes in order to meet internal and external customer requirements
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics costs (transport, distribution, etc.) and raw materials and finished goods working capital (3rd party oil storage agreements, packed product stocks, etc)
• Manage and improve relationships with key customers, fellow workers and support teams (planning, production, distribution, quality, etc.)
• Manage and improve relationships with key suppliers (transporters, 3rd party manufacturing, 3rd party distribution)
• Develop, update and monitor the application of Logistics Procedures and Standards
