Logistics National Contracts Manager - Pietermaritzburg
Duties:
• (Operations) Primary - Ensure all regional sites & x docks daily operational commitments have been achieved, i.e. NDD, special delivery requirements, customer requests, new store openings, store closures
• Implementation of cost saving initiative i.e. wages, fleet, fuel repairs, adhoc labour etc.
• Day to day running of the national contract, with daily focus on volumes & the impact thereof on the core fleet, additional fleet requirements, staffing
• Site/s discipline, wages, overtime reconciliation, ensure fleet maintenance and repairs schedules are maintained, fleet fuel consumptions monitored and managed, ensure staff maintain fleet security w.r.t tracking systems, camera's and mag locks
• Secondary - Direct support to both site Supervisor and PMB Op's with key focus on both customer
• Client Relationship - Attend daily, weekly & monthly operational
• Ensure customer strategy is continuously aligned, attend to & resolve client queries as they arise
• Monthly KPI's compiled and reviewed with Client, assist Creditor and Claims department with queries through the direct relationship held with client
• Monthly & Quarterly meetings with focus on customer satisfaction & resolving any issues that may arise
• Administration - Daily, Weekly and Monthly KPI's for all sites are communicated
• Weekly invoicing schedules compiled, checked and submitted
• Rates schedules are updated monthly and escalations as per the contract agreement. Random administration checks on fuel consumption, tolls, billing etc. Win freight
• Monthly internal KPI for management meetings, high level overview of contract performance
• Operational support Daily to the site representatives
• Compile monthly Executive KPI's (in-house) & (external)
• Attend monthly conference calls to address monthly performance, and quarterly visits with the CE and Marketing Executive
• Assist Debtors with Client claims process / queries, and address with client one on one.

Requirements:
• Daily & Weekly KPI, LMF Stats, Executive Summaries, P&L, Budgets, Costing's
• Oversee contracts at a National Level (3PL)
• Key focus on the Operations, Administration, Strategic, Client Relationship
• SLA & Contract. Operations with key focus on CI, KPI Reporting
• Customer Relationships & Internal P&L
• Win Freight,
• MS Project
• min 5-10 years senior management experience,
• Tertiary qualification ( minimum under graduate)
