My client is a very well established and reputable concern providing logistics solutions in Southern Africa. They are seeking to employ a Logistics Scheduler with a Logistics qualification and 1 - 3 years experience.

Duties will include:

• Executing on contract terms and conditions
• Stock as well as quality control
• Managing and executing import and export documents
• Negotiating rates with transporters
• Adding new transporters and updating insurance
• Develop relationships with transporters and clients
• Compile transport contracts
• Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA
• Keeping clients informed regarding status of cargo
• Daily admin function
• Collecting POD's
• Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery
• After hours contact with all relevant parties, 7 days a week.

Requirements:

• Relevant logistics qualification
• Fully bilingual
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
