Logistics Coordinator – Uitenhage - Eastern Cape
Salary: R12-15k+ Negotiable depending on experience

Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12 with Diploma/Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain related field
• Good working knowledge of SAP
• High numerical proficiency and reasoning skills
• Proficiency in MS Office including Word and Excel
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing/logistics, with minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Supervisory role/similar
• Previous experience in automotive/manufacturing/production environment
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

Responsibility / Duties:
• Ensure sustainable implementation and the continuous optimization and improvements of all processes in the responsible area including 5S principles
• Responsible for the inventory and flow of raw materials and/or finished parts
• Controls and posts incoming material/material transfers and/or outgoing goods to ensure stock accuracy
• Responsible for the unloading/loading of trucks, warehousing of store material and organization of time windows including proper securing of loads
• Completes all necessary documentation and filing (shipping documents and invoices when necessary)
• Ensures traceability of goods and FIFO principles are applied and adhered to
• Supports cycle counting in accordance to pareto analysis and stock counting when required
• Ensures compliance with safety and environment principles including checking of equipment /audits/racking etc…)
• Promotes a respectful work environment and develops/retains employees (functionally and disciplinarily reporting)
• To maintain a qualified, motivated and productive workforce
• Leads by example and lives up to company’s mission, values and global leadership principles
• Uses standard HR tools, e.g. the appraisal process to provide regular feedback and agree upon tasks and goals with respective employees
