Machine Maintenance: Electronics

CTP Flexibles, a Division of CTP Ltd, is a rapidly growing flexible packaging facility in Ndabeni, Cape Town. We recently acquired additional manufacturing machinery, rendering it necessary to expand the maintenance team and therefore invite all interested and qualified applicants to submit their details for our consideration.

The incumbent, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, will be responsible for conducting planned maintenance on machinery, including assessment of any electronic and/or electrical malfunctions. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to troubleshoot electronic faults experienced on various machines.
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
o Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification. (minimum N3 qualification)
o 5 Years experience in a similar role, preferably within a flexible packaging or production environment, with a knowledge of PLC, AC Drives and fault-finding.
o Sound knowledge of HACCP and ISO Systems as well as the Occupational Health and Safety Act
o Attention to detail
o Good written and verbal skills
o Good problem-solving, planning and organising skills
o Good numeracy and literacy acumen
o Own transport
o Willingness and availability for standby
o Enthusiastic and eager team-player
