My client in Rosslyn has the following vacansy available:
MACINIST:
Experience in Centre Lathe and Milling Machines, must be able to cut thread on Lathe and be able to use deviding head on milling machine,
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometres and vernier calipers, work according to specifications, set up adjust, operate all of the basic machine tools such as lathes, milling machines shapers or grinders,knowledge of CNC milling machines.
SKILLS:
Thread cutting on Lathe, using deviding head on milling machines, manufacturing processes, knowledge of different materials, communication, problem solving and work with hand tools and machinery in safe manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
N2 - qualification, qualified fitter and turner, minimum 3 years experience as Machinist within the automotive industry.
