Our Client is looking of Maintenance Administrator. This position is based at Durban

Key responsibilities:
Schedules repair, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment on the system
Prepares the longer-term maintenance plan on the system within the allocated R&M budget.
Captures details of planned and unplanned maintenance on the system
Compiles maintenance reports and statistics for use in the planning and prioritizing of maintenance activities.
Uses the system to report and monitor machine availability on a daily and weekly basis.
Manage the asset care function to ensure that breakdown time does not exceed 15%.
Raising and closing off all artisan’s work orders
Obtaining quotes and raising requisitions for the maintenance team and maintenance related work
Ensuring that ordered parts are received within the stipulated lead time
Ensuring that GRN’s are done within 24 hours of parts arriving
Managing engineering contractors on site
Monthly management reporting on maintenance metrics
Capturing machine settings from machines onto the Online Tools Server (Project Excellence)

Qualifications and Requirements
Matric
At least 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment utilising a planned maintenance system
Candidate must be highly computer literate with prior experience on a planned maintenance system and Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
Experience must include working in an ISO22000 environment
Exposure to basic asset care principles of complex machinery as utilised for plastics moulding
Well versed in problem solving methodologies utilised on site
