As part of the Production Maintenance team, the role of the Maintenance Supervisor is to ensure maximum availability and efficiency of all plant machinery within production by conducting routine maintenance activities.

ESSENTIAL:
• Diploma or degree in a Technical/Engineering or relevant field.
• Must fulfill requirement of a competent person as prescribed in OSHACT especially referring to GMR
• Must have a proven track record of minimum of 3 years’ experience in Maintenance Department within the Automotive Manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Robotics, PLC’s, Interbus communication, Drives Networking applications, robotic and laser welding, budget control, and optimum control of maintenance attributes.
• Be experienced in Project planning (Automatic & Semi-automatic automobile manufacturing equipment) and new vehicle introductions.
• Very important to be Proficient in Laserline equipment, for laser power from 3 Kw to 8 Kw.
• Have proven specialized experience in adaptive laser welding / brazing technology for different types of materials e.g. hot dipped galvanised.
• Be proficient in different types of laser wire feeding equipment like Binzel, Frounius, Wire wizard etc.
• Knowledge of regulations such as General, Driven, Electrical Machinery and the OSH Act.
• Must be computer literate and be prepared to work shifts.
• Must have leadership qualities and communication skills to handle a team of Technicians/ Artisans.
Be prepared to undergo and successfully pass the Leadership Assessment
PREFERRED:
• A qualified Artisan with a trade certificate
