Maintenance Coordinator
MUST have -
N6/ National Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
Trade Test
Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with at least 2 years spent in maintenance planning & scheduling preferably in a heavy engineering environment

Key responsibilities will include:
Compiling a two week plan of corrective and preventive maintenance, including work packages for each task.
Generating and issuing preventive maintenance work orders and routine inspection sheets
Maintenance shutdown planning and coordination
Maintenance backlog management
Maintaining BOMS in the CMMS for plant and equipment
Producing maintenance cost control reports and provide maintenance Key Performance Indicators
Ensuring statutory inspections are done on time

The ideal candidate will possess:
Basic knowledge of stores and purchasing systems
Be computer literate and have a working knowledge of spread sheets and word processing programs
Experience in the implementation and operation of a CMMS and be up to date with the latest developments and trends in asset and maintenance management
Working knowledge of project planning and scheduling, including the use of project management software
Good communication skills
Methodical and systematic worker, comfortable in an office environment with a fair amount of paperwork
Pro-active problem solving approach in the anticipation of problem areas and taking corrective actions to eliminate deviations
Goal orientated, stable, show integrity and be able to make decisions under pressure
Be prepared to work outside normal working hours
Code 08 drivers licence
