Our client a leader in engineering projects are looking to engage the services of a Maintenance Foreman to join their team and be responsible for supervising and controlling the execution of maintenance related activities on all company equipment, facility and vehicles all within the broader guidelines of company Policies and Code of Conduct.

KEY AREAS

· Maintenance of the interior surfaces and facilities of all buildings occupied by company

· Maintenance of all Overhead crane, lifts, transport forklift.

· Maintenance of electrical reticulation starting at the first distribution board ,after the supplies has entered the building

· Manage the safety program of the Maintenance section.

· Manage the manpower allocated to fulfil their requirements.

· Ensure that preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to.

· Perform after hour standby duty.

· Active participation in the safety program.

· Manage the gardening teams.

· Assist with office relocations and furniture removals.


CRITICAL SKILLS
Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles.
Ability to read, write and speak and English
Good supervisory and administration skills.
Computer literacy.
Recommending continuous improvements on all plants and equipment.
Proactive problem solver.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
Trade Test as Artisan.
Minimum of 7 years working as an Artisan.
Minimum of two years’ experience in manufacturing environment/facility maintenance.
