MAINTENANCE MANAGER (GCC FACTORIES), SABIE, RNEG + BEN

: • BEng/N6/T4 Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Government Competency Certificate (GCC): Factories (advantage) Work Experience:
• At least 5-8 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry
• Strong experience with PLC's and AC drives
• Advanced electrical and mechanical knowledge including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience in the saw milling industry will be an advantage
Other:

• Willing to work overtime

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of plywood plant machines and equipment through the planning, coordinating and directing of effective maintenance programs

. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Managing the Plywood engineering team
• Planned and preventative maintenance
• Budget and cost control
• Responsible for plant safety through the enforcement of the OHS Act
• Analyse equipment downtime and identify and implement improvement opportunities
• Managing maintenance and repair projects
