Our client is looking for a Maintenance Manager to be based in Cape Town.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To manage the maintenance department and to ensure the machinery and equipment are available to meet operational and development requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of plant assets utilising maintenance methods, procedures and systems
• Oversee routine and breakdown maintenance
• Cost control
• Full staff management function
• Training and Development of Technical staff
• Recommend and Implement improvement projects
• Involvement in Health & Safety and Housekeeping

REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering Degree and relevant maintenance management experience within a factory production environment.
• GCC for factories (advantageous)
• Sound working knowledge and experience maintaining boilers and production equipment
• Sound HSE knowledge
• Working knowledge of a Planned Maintenance System
• Experience with the Implementation of an Automated Maintenance System would be advantageous
• Previous Project Management experience advantageous
