Position: Maintenance Manager AUTOMOTIVE
Type: Permanent
Location: East London
Remuneration: R48,000 to R56,000 per month pending qualifications and experience

Requirements:

• Degree – Mechanical Engineering / BTech – Electrical Engineering / T4 Mechanical Engineering with GCC (Government Certificate of Competency).
• 3 – 5 years extensive supervisory experience in a maintenance / tooling environment as an engineer in the Automotive Industry
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge
• Siemens and Mitsubishi programming experience
• KUKA robot programming experience
• Safety device programming experience
• Familiar with mechanical processes, spot welding, press plants, paint plants, toolroom & jigs
• Preventative maintenance programs / packages / continuous improvement action plans
• High Computer skills on databases and knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Software
• OHS Act (Safety requirements) knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Management of Maintenance department to ensure optimum machine availability at all times
• Effective utilizations of the plant preventative maintenance program for both the equipment and tooling used for the production process
• Continuous improvement of process and machinery systems
• Programming and upgrading PLCs, Robots and other software
• Ensure full compliance with the OHS Act on sit
• Building maintenance and electrical reticulation
