Job Description:

Reporting for mobile equipment as well as planning, scheduling and analysis
Ensure spare parts and resource availability by managing shortages and providing information on the delivery dates
Overseeing the process of picking parts for maintenance orders and closing of the jobs
Establish and maintain sound maintenance plans and practices.
Produce clear and accurate maintenance plans and reports
Updating the service centre and internal sales departments daily and effectively
Closing of job cards and booking of man-hours
Create job cards from defect lists on a weekly basis
Expediting of units/parts for on time completion of planned work
Updating of forecast model and expediting of parts according to component life expectancy
Updating of planning boards, daily and attending the daily planning meeting
Generating of daily, weekly and monthly reports regarding Repairs and Maintenance performance
Update maintenance system daily
Management of stores and store personnel
Creating of works orders for planned work
Reducing downtime and effective management of responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid trade qualification or Engineering background
Must have project scheduling and planning experience
Previous experience within the mining or related heavy industry
5 years Previous experience undertaking estimate/ quotes and tender preparation
Strong knowledge of mining legislation and regulations
Understanding of quality procedures and principles as well as engineering standards and practices
Dynamic people skills and strong communication written and oral
Computer literate in MS office suite (advanced excel)
Knowledge of SAP MRP module is essential
Driver’s license and own reliable transport
