RESPONSIBILITIES
Attends scheduling and trouble shooting meetings with Line Managers
Plan work resulting from work orders by estimating job duration, determining necessary manpower and estimating necessary materials and equipment needed to complete the job.
Orders materials, spares and equipment for planned work.
Reviews outstanding work backlog.
Prepares detailed critical paths, spares and material lists for major jobs Monitors progress and update critical path plan while manufacturing or overhauling is in progress.
Develops preventative maintenance check list and performs scheduled over-inspections.
Communicates with supervisors and other planners to determine priorities.
Prepares weekly and long term forecasts.
Participates in the Company’s safety programme and safety meetings.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
National Diploma Electrical Engineering.
Electrical trade test, with 3 years electrical conditioning monitoring experience.
SAP PM Module and MS Project Knowledge advantageous TECHNICAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Local safety regulations and procedures
manufacturing and production processes
Equipment technology
Computer literacy, specially Word, Excel and CMMS
Problem solving methods and tools (Root Cause Failure Analysis, etc).
