Maintenance Supervisor (Millwright) – FMCG Manufacturing Plant Parow Cape Town

Our client is looking to appoint an effective Technical Maintenance Services Supervisor second in charge of the technical department with relevant technical and supervisory skills to assist with machinery and equipment maintenance.

Salary R 28000 - R 35000 pm Market Related + Overtime, Call out Allowances and Medical Aid

Qualifications and Experience:

· Matric

· Relevant Technical Qualification NTC 4 electrical / mechanical

· Qualified Millwright preferable

· Recognise trade certificate

· NOSA Supervisory Safety Training Course (SSTC) – Added Advantage

· Festo Pneumatics, Electrical fault finding

· Own transport essential and Driver’s License

· 5 years in a similar role as a Maintenance Supervisor / Technical in FMCG Manufacturing Environment

· Experience in Managing Staff Industrial Relations Good Work Performance with Sub Ordinates



Key Performance Areas:

Maintenance:

· Maintain production equipment and conduct change overs as per planned schedule

· Maintenance – To Ensure Minimal Disruption to the production process

· Co-ordinate regular servicing of equipment with the aid of stats

· Order and maintain stock of critical spares per machine

· Arrange repair of broken equipment with preferred suppliers

· Assist subordinates with repair and fine settings of equipment

· Compile monthly reports including trend analysis

· Assist Technical Manager with daily running of department

People management:

· Performance management of 5 Technical Staff, adherence to disciplinary procedures, training needs identification
