MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Grade 12 or equivalent and technical qualification
• Licensed electrician
• 4 Years+ maintenance technician experience
• Competent in mechanical, electrical and industrial electronics
• Hands-on experience in practical mechanics
• Supervisory experience
• Computer skills
• Experience in engineering disciplines

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Daily management and maintenance of plant and equipment
• Ensure scheduled planned maintenance is done
• Maintenance of forklift and reach truck batteries
• Assist with electrical repairs of the refrigeration plant and other materials handling equipment
• Ensure that the work environment is maintained in accordance with set health and safety standards
• Minimize errors, damage to products and claims through ongoing application of corrective actions
• Responsible for office and administrative duties and handling orders
• Planning and organizing the daily activities of maintenance staff
• Building and site maintenance, i.e. painting, plumbing, replacing of window panes, etc.
• Any related tasks as allocated by superior
