A national manufacturing company is looking to add a hardworking, well presented individual to their great team. This person will be responsible for routine and scheduled maintenance of properties.

Duties:
• Routine and scheduled maintenance of properties
• Fix and maintain conveyor belts in production area
• Respond to emergency calls
• Minor repairs and services to electrical appliances and equipment
• Report problems, issues and work related matters promptly
• Clean light fittings and test lighting systems and replace minor parts in accordance with safe working practises
• Handle all plumbing problems – Arrange clear blockages, remove foreign matter, clean up spillages
• First line maintenance of fittings and fixtures
• Painting and decorating
• Monitor stock levels of consumables – Toiletries, Fuel, gravel, lightbulbs etc.
• Arrange stock replenishments
• Utilize correct signage when working – Wet paint, slippery when wet etc.
• Complete related paperwork when needed
• Maintain a high level of safety and efficiency when carrying out task
• Provide assistance to other departments when needed

Requirements:
• Matric qualification or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Technical ability
• Ability to prioritise
