RedCat Recruitment is seeking a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN for a national concern – position based in Howick.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Relevant qualifications.
3yrs+ previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food/beverage manufacturing facility.
Responsible for the maintenance of Filling Machines and other equipment as well as other maintenance related tasks and should meet the following requirements:
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Must be technically-minded be a quick learner, be self-motivated and be responsible.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and be able to use their initiative.
- Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Filling Machinery
- Food & Beverage industry
- Pneumatics
- PLC
- Hydraulics
- Machine Electrical
- Machine Mechanics
- Welding (Stainless Steel)
Applicants must be prepared to work shifts/overtime and weekends.
Own transport ESSENTIAL!

Salary offered: R8 000-00 – R14 000-00 per month (depending on previous experience)
